Darlene Armstrong may not be related to the seven-time Tour de France winner, but when it comes to recruiting the right person for the right job, there isn’t a mountain she can’t climb.
"I love networking, learning about a company’s specific needs, and then doing whatever it takes to find just the right person for the job," said Darlene, who works on ROI Communication’s recruiting and staffing team. "I like creating relationships with clients and employees, and helping everyone reach their potential."
Before joining ROI in 2009, Darlene spent more than a decade at Volt Workforce Solutions, a full-service staffing and talent management agency with 400 offices around the world. In this capacity, she helped place hundreds of candidates in a broad variety of industries. Prior to working at Volt, Darlene – who graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising – worked in clothing design.
When she’s not helping ROI meet its clients’ needs, Darlene enjoys spending time with her two kids and her golden retriever, and pursuing her passion for photography.
