Barbara has been a Human Resources executive
for more than 25 years. She currently focuses on executive coaching,
leadership development and facilitating organizational change.
Now a senior advisor to and board member of ROI
Communication, Barbara previously served as the Vice President of
Human Resources for Quantum Corporation's hard disk drive business.
In this role, she was responsible for overall HR strategies and the
development of organizational capabilities within a $3 billion
global business.
Before her work at Quantum, Barbara spent more
than 15 years with Hewlett-Packard. She held various positions in
Human Resources, leading the HR function in a regional sales
organization and later, in a start-up software division. In
addition, Barbara served as Worldwide Manager of Executive and
Management Development for the corporation, and spent
three-and-a-half years in a product-development management position.
She holds a B.A. in Sociology from the
University of Michigan and an M.A. in Industrial Relations from the
University of Minnesota. She is also a certified Internal Coach
through New Ventures West, and a member of the International
Coaching Federation and Human Resources Planning Society. |
