A Silicon Valley native, Michelle is a
talented, technologically savvy communications consultant
experienced in all areas of internal communications,
specializing in project management, metrics and measurement, web
content development and the production of print and video
collateral. Adept at managing complex endeavors within large
organizations, she is a strong, team-oriented communicator with
a results-driven perspective.
Before joining ROI Communications, Michelle
held a number of in-house communication positions at global
high-tech companies, such as Lucent Technologies, Cadence Design
Systems, and eBay Inc. As a Senior HR Communications Manager at
eBay, she provided direction and support for the company’s HR
strategy, vision and values. In this role, she managed all
aspects of HR communication, including benefits, compensation,
global compliance and merger and acquisition communications.
Additionally, Michelle also served as Manager, Great Place to
Work, helping eBay in its global effort to create an engaging
and inspiring work environment for employees.
Since 1994, Michelle has served in a
variety of writing and communications roles at other leading
companies in Silicon Valley, including Egghead.com and AT&T
Broadband. Her extensive experience working closely with a wide
variety of companies in different industries gives her a
holistic perspective on internal communications best practices
and corporate culture.
Michelle earned a B.A. in Communication
Studies from San Jose State University, and received additional
training and certifications in Project Management from Villanova
University and Technical Communications from De Anza College.
Her work has been recognized for excellence by the The Dalton
Pen Awards, the Communicator Awards and the International
Association of Business Communicators. |
