Jenny Carless

Jenny Carless has lived and worked throughout Europe and the United States, writing extensively for a range of global corporations, conducting research for an international policy consultancy, and marketing innovative database services. "I like helping people communicate," she said. "It’s always interesting, it’s always different and I learn something new every day."

A seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience in the communication world, Jenny has developed keen skills in research, writing and editing. She has drafted annual reports, written feature articles, developed marketing collateral and served as managing editor, copy editor and project manager on a wide range of endeavors. She writes for public websites and intranets, magazines, newsletters and newspapers – often about technology and environmental issues.

Jenny’s interest in communication took root more than 20 years ago, when she earned a B.A. in French and Spanish at the University of the Pacific and an M.A. in International Policy from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. After working for several years in Europe, she returned to pursue opportunities in the United States.

She is a LEED Accredited Professional (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design; a program of the U.S. Green Building Council) and the author of two books – one on renewable energy sources and one on recycling.

Jenny also travels regularly to East Africa, where she pursues her passion for nature photography.
