Known for her keen insights and an extraordinary attention to detail, Joanne Cowperthwaite has been praised as an
"über project manager." A communication professional with more than two decades of experience in the corporate, government contract and non-profit worlds, Joanne applies expertise and rigor to every assignment – as well as common sense.
"Communications have to be simple and engaging in order to be effective," Joanne said.
"But you can’t filter too much. There has to be hard-core
content."
Since joining ROI Communication in 2005, Joanne has worked on a broad variety of challenging projects, including producing comprehensive
"Journey Maps" for Fortune 500 clients; managing the design, implementation and analysis of major employee surveys; and initiating knowledge management systems to capture and leverage an organization’s intellectual capital.
Prior to joining the ROI team, Joanne coordinated youth education initiatives at the non-profit Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, in Boulder, Colorado. Earlier in her career, she worked in a variety of human resources roles at Quantum Corporation, including organizational development and training. She holds a B.S. in Natural Resources from Colorado State University. |
