Sarah brings ROI clients nearly a decade of experience in
organizational planning and change management environments, both in global
corporations and smaller fast-paced start-ups. After many years in
executive-level support positions, she understands the challenges company
leaders face, and can offer insights as a coach and key collaborator for
executive managers. Most recently, she has served as chief of staff and
executive coach to Hewlett Packard’s Vice President of Global Social Investment.
Sarah specializes in helping executives navigate through times of transition
and change, and is adept at conflict management. She has provided key support
during the integration of staff following acquisitions and mergers, the
development and implementation of new policies and procedures, as well as
training, staff development and event planning.
From helping executives
articulate their strategic vision to executing it successfully day-to-day, Sarah
focuses on ensuring the growth and sustainability of organizations over the long
term. Some of her specific experience includes:
- leading
negotiation efforts to standardize intra-organization best practices to secure
competitive pricing from shared vendors
- creating a
five-year strategic business plan for the events arm of a private company to
drive growth and increase profitability
- directing
events and in-house management responsibilities for both public and private
events averaging 500-700 attendees
- coordinating
regional and quarterly executive road shows to address employee concerns and
questions.
- developing
adaptable training programs
- creating a
detailed user’s guide and staff training for new systems
- collaboratively upgrading content of conference training programs and collateral
- co-presenting training program at a sustainability conference for more than 200
attendees in San Francisco
- overseeing
deployment and utilization of more than 50 consultants working on concurrent
projects
- managing the
entire life-cycle of major conference programs, from RFPs to post-conference
support
- creating and
maintaining operational and financial reports
Prior to her recent work at HP, Sarah has worked for
Broadlane, a leading technology-oriented healthcare services company, and for
Predictive Systems, a networking specialization firm assisting Fortune 500
companies. Before joining ROI, she worked as an independent change management
consultant.
Sarah received her bachelor’s degree in Modern Literary
Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz. |
