As a
project coordinator, Sarah Moody is adept at learning new
organizations, uniting diverse teams and smoothly resolving the
unexpected challenges that often emerge in complex projects.
Perhaps these abilities flow from her rich professional
background – not just in corporate America, but as a
schoolteacher around the world and as a tour guide and trainer
in Cairo, where she navigated both ancient souks and Egyptian
bureaucracies with flexibility and aplomb.
Sarah
began her career as a teacher in Australia and later, England,
where she developed a keen ability to listen, communicate and
motivate. She has run cultural exchange programs for the
University of California, and spent 18 months leading tours
through Egypt, occasionally on horseback. "I loved the
craziness," she said – experience that, by comparison, makes the
pressures of corporate America seem like virtual tranquility.
Immediately prior to joining ROI, Sarah worked in the Operations
department for West Marine, the national boating giant. In this
role she managed the company intranet, wrote and edited training
documentation, and designed the technical guides used by
employees in 380 stores, among other responsibilities.
At ROI,
Sarah has been a key member of the team supporting
Hewlett-Packard, putting her organizational management,
presentation and training skills to work on a wide range of
projects.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the
Australian Catholic University. |
