Julie Steinbrinck doesn’t get frazzled. As an Executive
Assistant, she can’t afford to – no matter how many emails and
calls are coming in and going out.
"I love interfacing with a lot of different people, and I
like the fast pace," she said. "It feels good when you can make
an impact."
Julie, who joined the ROI team in 2010, has a long history
with ROI’s leadership team. In the 1990s, she worked with many
of them at Quantum Corporation, the hard-drive company that was,
appropriately, hard-driving and growing fast. When the
opportunity recently came up to collaborate again, Julie decided
to take the opportunity – especially since ROI enables her to
work remotely from her office in Colorado.
Julie, who earned her BA in Public Relations from San Jose
State University, began her career in California. Over the past
20 years, she has worked as a store auditor for Nordstrom, as an
Executive Assistant to the CEO of Oak Technology, and in the
same capacity for a Group President at Agilent Technologies.
Most recently, she has worked as the Executive Assistant to the
CEO of the Inphi Corporation, which provides critical technology
for cloud computing, where she developed the company’s travel
policy and facilitated a major sales conference.
"I’m good at multi-tasking," she said. "I
prioritize, and just keep pushing ahead."
When she’s not working, Julie spends most
of her time with her two young children, which she describes as
"a total blessing, but the toughest job I’ve ever had. It’s
all-consuming being a mom."
