Project Coordinator Jennifer Wirowek believes that the
smooth flow of information is healthy for an organization. "Bad
internal communication is like a clogged artery," she said.
"People might ignore it for awhile, but sooner or later it
can cripple an organization."
"Without good communication, businesses can’t function
efficiently," she said. "You really need to keep it open and
transparent, so that employees know what’s going on and feel
engaged in their work."
Jennifer, a graduate of the University of San Diego, joined
ROI Communication from a background in marketing and
distribution. As a Marketing and Communications Manager at a
leading health care market research company, Jennifer
interviewed clients, wrote extensively, edited the firm’s
external newsletter and streamlined production of promotional
materials. Currently, she’s working on ROI Communication’s
Hewlett-Packard team on a variety of projects.
While she’s adept in professional settings, Jennifer is
equally confident outdoors, whether skiing, shooting trap or
hitting the links. As a former competitive golfer, she learned a
lot about performing under pressure, with little room for error.
"Golfing is just like life," she said. "You can either get
frustrated or stressed about something, or you can let those
negative emotions go and simply concentrate on the challenge
ahead."
